TMS

A modern transport management system for retail and wholesale companies

Benefits of Implementing a TMS System

20%

Reduced Costs

The TMS optimizes transportation by considering vehicle capacity, driver schedules, and real-time traffic conditions. This data-driven approach allows for efficient vehicle allocation, ultimately reducing transportation costs.

25%

Optimized Human Resources

The system automates route planning and provides plan-versus-actual analysis, freeing up valuable employee time. Additionally, a mobile application streamlines communication and simplifies work processes for drivers and freight forwarders.

10%

Increased Revenues

The TMS factors in receiving facility hours to ensure on-time deliveries. This, combined with optimized route planning, empowers the system to maximize the number of deliveries completed each day, potentially leading to increased revenue.

Faster and more efficient delivery

Route planning

The exact addresses and preferred delivery times of the goods receiving facilities, the time required to empty the goods, the location of the goods issuing warehouse, the carrying capacity of each vehicle and working hours will be recorded in the system in advance. Based on the mentioned information and considering the road traffic, the system plans a route that ensures the timely delivery of existing orders in the optimal sequence for the vehicle.

Route Execution

The route planned by TMS is transferred to the driver in the mobile application. The application dictates to the driver which facility to visit at what time and by which route, as well as what cargo to leave at each location. The driver also registers the fact of cargo delivery in the mobile application, which provides instant information on the progress. In case the object wants to take over a different amount, the driver can request from the application to correct the subscribed sale and invoice, which will be reflected in the office program after confirmation by the authorized person.

Control and analytics

From the office program, it is possible to track the progress of drivers and identify deviations, if any, instantly.

The analytics module visualizes information on vehicle load, actual distance traveled, order delivery speed, cost incurred per trip or order, and much more. A user-friendly interface makes all critical indicators easily accessible to management and clearly displays problem areas that require attention.

Integration with the main accounting system

The TMS seamlessly integrates with the company's central accounting system, facilitating a continuous exchange of information. The accounting system provides the TMS with essential data on warehouses, goods receiving facilities, and orders. These orders, including customer orders and internal movements, are automatically transferred from the accounting software to the TMS, forming the foundation for optimized delivery route planning. Once a route is planned, the TMS transmits data back to the accounting system, specifying the orders scheduled for shipment on the following day. This integration also enables automatic waybill generation for these outgoing orders within the accounting system.
